cannot setup email to scan. keep getting error message about password and email address although they are correct
has been working before update but will not work any more

Is the SMTP server you are using on your local network or is it a remote server located elsewhere. The most common reason we run into for email not working are
-Incorrect DNS settings
-SMTP server address has changed
-Credentials not being entered correctly.

Seems it was a server related issue at work.
All good now and working.
