In essence, you really don't, but you can trick it. It depends somewhat on how many trays you have. If you only have trays 1 & 2, set the paper type or size of tray 1 to something unique or different from what you want to use tray 2 for. You can also set the other trays the same way. (i.e. Letterhead, legal, bond, recycled, heavy weight, etc.)

Otherwise, you simply select tray 2 as your default tray in the application you're using along with the print driver settings, instead of leaving it on automatic tray selection.
