when I give a single page pdf to printer, printer print that single page back side instead of front side.

Which application or software are you using to print?

Which of the Printing Preferences "Shortcuts" have you selected during job setup?

What is the content type?  Word document, PDF file, Image / Photo file?

Has the printer ever worked as expected -- that is, is this a new result?

Always a good reference

-- Printer Software --

The full driver printer software was last released in 2022 (at this writing).

True  -- Windows Updates or normal File System changes might corrupt or change the character of the installed printer software.

If you believe this result is due a recent Windows Update or perhaps a problem in the installed printer software, consider uninstalling / reinstalling the full driver.

The reinstall process is as you have used in the past -- ask if you need additional instructions.

Two-sided printing is generally a setting called in your job configuration steps -- normally, even were you to have accidentally set to print two sided, I believe a single page file, one sheet of standard paper, should not "flip" or print on the back side of the sheet.  Exceptions might be possible-- for example, if you have the job configuration set to print the first page of a file on different paper or from a different tray.

That said, there are a lot of variables --

  • Different applications behave differently,
  • Options within in some types of document software (for example, Word) can impact the results,
  • The behavior of the particular driver used for the job can change how the job is interpreted.
