My prints have vertical blue banding on them. I have run all the maintenance processes and it hasn't improved. The blue cartridge is fairly new.

Hi Fabio_L32

I have done this: - printed the alignment report; scanned the alignment printout; printed the print quality report;  run the 'clean the printhead' process; run the 'clean smear process'; all of these several times!; I have removed all the cartridges and cleared the 'T-shaped' hole on top of the cartridge of any excess adhesive or debris - and the problem is still not resolved. On the print quality report the sequence of colour blocks displayed are light blue, then pink, yellow, dark blue, green, orange. The dark blue block has pink smears on it and the green block has yellow smears on it.

I have a print cartridge contract with HP, so the ink cartridges have always been HP-sourced. I do not have any replacement cartridgesat the moment as the Black and Blue ones have only recently been replaced with new HP cartridges and the other ones are 3/4 full.

Any other ideas?

Many thanks

Hello @Twickerman

Ideally, we should test with another cartridge to see where the real problem might be.

Best regards

I think you’re right. I’ll try to contact HP Instant Print to send me another cartridge. Hopefully it won’t take long …….

Thanks for your help Fabio.
