Is there a driver that will work my laserjet 1000 printer for windows 10 64 bit system?

No, there's no Windows 10's driver for LaserJet 1000, HP only support upto Win7 x32.

But you still can use it in Windows 10 through protection mode.

I don't know how but it really does work.

Google to find it out if you want to.

The computer finds the printer but still no driver. Just can not seem to find at least an universal driver for just a black ink printer. What a sham becouse i did like not having to by all that black ink just to print receipts of payed bills when I pay online. Looks like HP wants me to spend the $$$ to buy a new printer just for that.

Did you try using the Laserjet 1020  or  Laserjet 1022 driver???

Install virtual pc available from microsoft xp mode.

I had a client who had his friend installed HP LaserJet 1000 Windows 10 x64 for him and it works fine.

I never know how to do it but it really works for sure.
