I'm having trouble with my wired network connection to my printer.  I can get wireless to work, but the port doesn't seem to be enabled and I cant seem to find instructions on how to get it to work.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sincerely,

Garner

Try to turn the wi-fi first OFF to see will that makes any changes.

You can't have both wireless and wired network connection at the same time. Do you have a network led blinking on the printers port when the LAN cable is connected?

I assumed it might be either Wi-Fi or wired, but I definitely want to use the wired land. I don’t want Wi-Fi, but I will try switching it on to see if I then have an option to switch back.

There are definitely no lights. I’m using an eight port gigabit switch, and the seven other ports all have lights. I have switched the cables, so I’m sure the port itself actually works. There is simply no powered connection on the side of the printer.

We have had some issues with devices that are set for auto link speed do not work on some switches. You need to go into the network setup on the control panel and change the network connect speed from auto to 100 full duplex.
