printer will not wireless print.
This printer has been able to print wirelessly for a few years but stopped printing recently.
1. laptop and printer are communicating;
2. printer can scan a document to the laptop wirelessly but not print
3. I have run Scan Doctor and uninstalled and reinstalled.
4. one time running Scan Doctor I was able to do an “internal” but I could not print test page.
5. printer is recognized as “ready” when running Scan Doctor.
6. I have re-run wireless wizard and again all is recognised and again it will scan but not print.

@rossclaire, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Follow the steps below-
- Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to get the IP address.
- Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
- Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
- Restart your printer and the Computer
Assign manual IP to the printer-
The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.
For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers
Try to add the printer using TCP/IP -
1. Select “Start” and type “printers” in the search box.
2. Choose “Printers & scanners“.
3. Select “Add a printer or scanner“.
4. Wait for the “The printer that I want isn’t listed” option to appear, then select it.
5. Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname”, then select “Next“.
6. select “TCP/IP Device” in the “Device type” list.
7. Type the hostname or the IP address of the printer. Select “Next“. To find the IP address of the printer, touch the Wi-Fi icon on the printer's control panel.
8. Windows should find the printer if the printer is on and configured correctly. You may have to specify more information. If prompted, select the type of network adapter installed in the printer in the “Device Type” drop-down list. You can also click “Custom” to specify custom settings for the network printer. Select “Next“.
Try printing.
