Rob, I am happy to announce that the latest link you provided is working! I was able to create a silent SCCM package and we have successfully deployed it to two PC's now! We will continue testing next week.

Quick question - do you know if its possible to "pre-populate" the drop down menu where the IP address/DNS name would go?

Thanks,

Scott

Sorry for not replying sooner. Yes, we have an tech note for pre-populating addresses.

I've attached the tecn note to a new post here:

Hello Rob,

Thanks for the silent install but for my enterprise, we have necessary a silent uninstall.

When i use commande :

"C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{2B639907-BE5A-44FC-BB6E-0DF466241015}\setup.exe" /norestart -runfromtemp -l0x040c -removeonly;

i have a message whith choice yes or not. Whith /S it's ok but the application is not removed.

Do you have a solution?

Sorry for not responding sooner. We currently don't have any way to silently uninstall People+Content IP. However, it should be possible to modify the setup.iss file to perform a silent uninstall. I'll look into this and see if we can get the needed changes. I'll try to report back next week.

Thanks Rob, i am waiting 🙂

Hello Rob,

Have you had time to watch?

Thanks!

Yes, sorry for the delay. I was able to dig up a silent uninstall verion of the Installshield script. Attached to this post is the PPCIP installer with the silent uninstall script (setup.iss).

To silently uninstall PPCIP:

1 - Extract files from PPCIP_v1.4.2 silent uninstall.7z

2 - Run 'setup /s'

That's it! Testing here showed that PPCIP was uninstalled in about 5 seconds.
