We have an eagle eye camera (model: MPTZ-6, P/N: 1624-23412-001) which can never face up straight at startup.
Every time we boot up our HDX terminal and our eagle eye camera turns around to face us, it is never facing us straight! Instead, it's facing to its left at an angle of about 30°. Our workaround is of course turning its base to the right with the same angle to compensate, but it's still ugly.
It has this problem from the very first day we have it. Has anyone seen this problem? Is it a hardware defect? Anyway to correct it?
Thanks

This seems to be a preset "problem".
Your VC endpoint is able to store up to 100 pre-definied position.
Position "0" is the position the camera turns to, when it has been started.
To solve your problem you can set the camera to your prefered position and then press and hold the "0"-Key on your remote.
You should now see a message, that this preset has been saved.
Reboot your machine and check if that has been the fix.
