Good, it's not just me then. The IR Remote Monitor o/p format switch doesn't always work. I find using the Web Browser always does IF you can find out the IP address (DHCP Pool). Thanks for your Posts, I always find them useful, sometimes even entertaining. Pete

I havent had an issue as long as the camera is connected. Would be nice if IR was still transmitted directly to the codec like in previous models.
To scan for IPs I use Angry IP scanner to search a subnet. That at least gives you all the active IPs and allows you to see if its a PC or something else.
