Hi,

 

Wonder if someone would be able to help us out with an issue that we have with a number of VC unit's.  At the moment when several of the units get powered off, by a user pressing the power on the remote control, they stop being pingable.  We have other units were when they are powered off too they are pingable.

 

We'd want them all to go to "sleep" rather than fully powered off, so we can monitor, update directories etc remotely.

 

Is there a setting that controls this behaviour on the web interface?  I've checked on one of the ones that are always on but not found it.

HP Recommended

Assuming fairly recent V3.x.x) s/w, have you checked Admin>General>System> Power Button Function.  Can be either Sleep/Awake, PowerOn/Off or Do nothing.
