People+Content IP

Hi,

I want to share content from my laptop using people+content IP application. Is there any licnese/option required in the HDX system to use this feature?

Hi there 🙂

Normally, if your hdx systems software is not too old, you won´t need a license.

Just grab the P+C IP software from the polycom site and give it a try.

Any idea about the software version from which this feature becomes free?

Will the people+plus content IP work with VSX series? If yes, do we require any license?

Your hdx software should be 2.6 or newer.

For VSX there is another version of p+c IP. You can download that one here.

If you have a vsx 8000, the license should be included.

For all other VSX systems, you would have to buy the option key (from the rls notes here).

The People+Content IP option key is included with the VSX 8000 and is optional for
all other VSX and V Series systems. For information about purchasing the
People+Content IP option, please contact your Polycom distributor

Licence is required for vsx and HDX7000 (free version of HDX7000 is avilable for 5 minute only) and  licence is included with HDX 8000 system please go through the download link

 Seems you´re talking about the multipoint demo mode, not p+c ip

The second part of your post isn´t correct also.

From the HDX 2.6 rls notes:

With version 2.6 the People+Content option comes standard on all room
systems.
