Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

I see Poly now have a recommended USB extender for the GC8
https://www.poly.com/gb/en/products/video-conferencing/accessories/usb-extender

 

When using this are fibre USB cables still required like the ones that are sent with the system or can you use normal USB cables to connect the GC8 to the extender and the extender to the PC?
