Hi All,

We've got HDX 7000 and Polycom Touch Control in our lab environment. Version compatibility between HDX and PTC was checked and its OK. I am not able to control volume of HDX through PTC. Volume slider itself works well (move together with finger move) but without volume effect on HDX.

I want to ask you, if somebody met with similar issue. Is there any unknown bug or something like that ?

Thanks a lot for any advice

Not an issue that I am aware of.

Couple of questions:  you say you checked the software compatibility, but do not say what the software levels are.

Also, if you unpair the Polycom Touch Control, does the remote control the volume?

Did you check in the UI to make sure the Audio output is set to Variable?  That allows control from the remote/Touch control.

The best way to control the volume is for the output device (i.e.. Monitor speakers) to be set at about 65% of output and to make all other changes via the remote control.

You have right. Audio output value was set to fixed.

After i have changed it to variable it started to work.

Thanks a lot for your advice
