We have a Polycom RealPresence Group 500. I'm wondering if it's possible to share audio in addition to video from a presentation PC connected to the Polycom.

Did not say how you are sharing content.

 

The HDMI input when defined for content will also provide audio.

 

There is a 3.5mm input on the back that can be configured to also be active when content is, generally used when content is being shared via the DB15 input on the codec.

 

Please refer to the backplane diagrams in the GS Admin Guide to get information on the use of the I/O of the system.  Go to the documentation tab here to get the Admin Guide.
