Hi all.
Currently trying to update the firmware on an HDX7000 at a remote site in Korea via the web GUI.
When I go to the admin setion, I get prompted to logon, which I can do with no problem.
I point the device at the .pup file for the upgrade and click OK.
After a few minutes of uploading the new software and so on, I am presented with another login prompt which I can't get past. I've tried the normal admin password, the default password and just about everything else that I can think of, but no joy.
Any ideas?
I'm desperately hoping that I can resolve this issue without needing to involve the local site for anything more than a reboot as they have no techies on site and the language barrier is a real problem!
Thanks in advance.
Mark

Resolved.
Once the unit gets itself into the software update / request admin password loop it needs to be restarted.
After a restart, I logged on to the unit via telnet and issued:
adminpassword set
This set the admin password to null and allowed me to continue with the software update process as normal
NB - the above telnet command may have been replaced on newer firmware versions, according to the system integrators guide, but it worked on v 2.0.something.
