Dear All,

I am facing one major problem with HDX 7000 & WATCHGUARD firewall systems.

Now here  the things going on that when we connect multiparty through static IP with firewall the 1st site becomes blank in 4 party and the same blank site disconnect and reconnect that site then all 4 site working fine. So what is going on we can’t able to conclude the same things? If firewall is blocking something then it should not work after reconnecting.

The connection of point to point is working fine with LAN/WAN IP. Also the polycom device working fine in LAN IP with Firewall. Please give me the proper information what we require for the proper solution and help us for the same.

We have done following:

1)HDX 7000 upgraded to 3.1.0 latest software.

2)all the watchguard firewall ports are opened.

3)so many times we have checked but probem remain same.

please guide urgently.

Dear All

I finally got an opportunity to try the H.239 removal and it fixed the problem.

Many thanks for your help.

Pleased to hear it fixed the problem, but my expectations are that you'll have issues sending content to non-Polycom far ends as H.239 is the only shared standard for content I'm aware of.  Of course, if you're all Polycom, well done you 🙂 Pete

All Polycom thankfully 🙂
