You are the second member reporting the same issue with the identical notebook and wifi adapter.
It appears that the Intel AC7260 is not compatible with this particular notebook.

Hmm that intresting that I'm not alone. I have tried looking for a blutooth opition in the BIOS but cannot find it anywhere and I'm running the latest BIOS revision for my paticular model. I have tried downgrading my BIOS but get a BIOS update has failed error.

SElection of bluetooth in the BIOS is not an option since you have a combo wifi adapter.
That adapter's bluetooth function just does not appear to work with your notebook.
It is a great adapter.
My HP product loan Omen 15 has is and I like it.
I really don't use bluetooth very often, except on occasion with a bluetooth mouse I have.
If I were you I would leave it installed and use a usb bluetooth dongle for the notebook. That would keep things simple.
Logitech sells bluetooth dongles and they are tiny enough to leave plugged in.
