HP Omen 15-AX243dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I just purchased a new HP omen notebook and the user guide didn't tell me a few things I need to know before I upgarde. I need to know the Max RAM it supports (I am assuming it is 16 gb) and the speed of the RAM (assuming its DDR4 2400 since its Kaby Lake). I also would like to know if there is a M.2 slot that I can add a SSD in and if it supports NVME. The user guide I could find doesn't really tell me any information.

Thank you for all your help!

Propofolz.

Hi,

The first 20 pages of the second manual on the following link will tell you all:

Wow thanks for the fast reply and the guude...don't know why I didn't look below. Much appreciated! Do you know why it says that's the dimm slots are not accessible or upgrade able on the chart for all the models? I didn't think they were solder on.

Hi,

I believe that is something to do with warranty because with new design, accessing RAM slots could damage the machine.
