What is currently installed?
Some G4 models have Intel CPUs and others have AMD processors installed.
Install and run CPU-z to find out and then post it here. Is it the 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor?
If you want information about memory upgrades, just use G4-1025tx memory upgrades as the keywords in a Google or Bing search. Only purchase guaranteed compatible memory modules.

Find your Product number. Does it match those on this document? If it does then the following CPU's are the options available to you. Fortunately those CPU's are now quite inexpensive.
