What is the response time of this upcoming monitor? All the internet sites states 4 ms or 3 ms. Unfortunately the HP site says it is 20 ms. I was considering this monitor until I saw 20 ms. I also have a hard time believing a gaming monitor could have a 20 ms response time. So who is right and who is wrong?

Hi,
All information from HP and others show it has refresh rate 100Hz:
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-news/media-kits/2017/ces-launch.html#!omen-x-curved-display
http://www.anandtech.com/show/10992/hp-announces-omen-x-35inch-curved-display
http://www.144hzmonitors.com/reviews/hp-omen-x-35-review/
200Hz could be really good but 100Hz is sitll very good in comparison with many current monitors.
Regards.

Hi,
It only 100Hz and they said 4ms. Well you can work out yourself when you get a next frame.
Regards.

First of all, if you set out to be an "expert" you might wanna do some research before posting on an official forum where people are looking for advice.
Secondly, you come off as an arrogant **bleep** with that condecending attitude when its obvious you have no idea what you are talking about. Vertical refresh rate and pixel response time are two completely separate things.
Now, for anyone wondering; a VA panel like the x 35 has relatively slow response times and it depends on which colors you transition between. This monitor use a very similar panel to the monitor in this review : http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/aoc_agon_ag352ucg.htm#detailed_response
As you can see the slowest transition is 48 ms.
