Hello,

I have a question about connecting keyboard/mouse to the monitors USB 3.0 ports. Will this cause any input lag for gaming compared to connecting them you motherboard? If so, any idea how significant?

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an OMEN X by HP 35 Curved Display and would like to know if connecting the keyboard and mouse to the monitor's USB 3.0 ports will cause any lag for gaming compared to connecting to the motherboard.

I don't think there should be any lag in the performance of the keyboard and the mouse. However, I have personally not tried it yet. I suggest you to try it once by connecting to the monitor and compare by connecting it to the PC as well.

The detailed user guide for the OMEN X by HP 35 Curved Display is here.

Please let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂
