Okay I am experiencing a wierd thing in my laptop. One day i was listening to music through my speakers and headset. And suddenly i realized why did my volume dropped down and i restarted my laptop thinking it needs a refresh. I did that and now my volume is not in control. When i keep it on 2% it feels like its on 70% up volume. When i increase the bar it does not control the volume anymore. I have to manually do it from the player for it to control. I also checked the volume controller but doesn't seem anything has happened there. I even tried restarting my laptop or any updates have come to fix this bug. But, there is nothing. I don't know whether this is a software or a hardware problem. It's very stupid that suddenly i am not able to control my volume..
Please advise!
Thanks

Hi @Ashish93
Welcome to the HP Forums!
It is a great way to engage, post questions and find resolutions by working with specialists in the HP community.
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are having issues with the volume on your computer.
I’d love to help!
I recommend you to uninstall the audio driver from device manager and restart your computer.
Here is how you uninstall the driver.
Right-click the Start button at the bottom-left corner of your screen or press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager to launch the Device Manager. Locate audio and right-click it, and select Uninstall. Check the “Delete the driver software for this device” option and click OK. Windows will uninstall the device and delete the driver software downloaded from Windows Update.
Once the driver is uninstalled restart the computer and check if the audio is working fine.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
