Hi there i got myself a 870-100np, im not at home atm so im not sure if i got a 300w power or 500, it seems it can be one of those 2, i got a i5-6400 But i want to upgrade for a i7-6700k due some lack of fps in some games, altho i assume the Chipset suports it, but if its a 300w power suplly i will have to get a better one right? and any other powersuplly fit on those HP omen desktops?

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
The H170 chipset is not able to overclock. The i7 6700k is better than your current processor.
In general, HP systems don't provide BIOS overclocking options.
Again, I can't check specs. Some HP motherboards don't support all CPU upgrade options. You have to check the processor TDP. I think the i7 6700k is 95 watts.
The power supply has no bearing unless you are going to upgrade the graphics card. Nvidia 1070 and 1080 cards require 400 watt or higher power supplies.
