Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk AC2600 router.  Works fine with my desktop, iPad, iPhone but my printer does not recognize my router.  Does not come up in the list provided by, "wireless set up wizard."  I've tried entering it manually but it will not find the name of my router.  I've unplugged the printer a number of times, reset network settings, reset the router, unplugged and restarted the router.  Hate to play with it much more since everything is working except my wireless printer, an Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.  Worked fine before.

Hi,

Please ensure your router is configured to broadcast WiFi at the range of 2.4GHz with a unique SSID.

As I can see this is a Dual Band router, your printer only supports 2.4GHz, the 5GHz wifi band is not supported and would not be detected by the HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer.

Thanks ShlomiL - I ended up doing a reset and returning the SSID name back to its original.  It seemed that the new router SSID was conflicting with my desktop.  Also, I removed the wireless adapter and plugged it back in.  Voila!  Appears that did the trick as well.  Go figure!  But I do appreciate your feedback - thanks again!
