HP 6052
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

At this very moment, I am trying to decide if the HP 6052 would better serve my family as a planter or a cat box.  It is absolutely useless as a printer, although it does scan nicely.

Any tips on how to get a 6052 to do something like oh, print?  I can't get more than one print job at a time, if I queue a second, it crashes.  Sometimes, if I queue 1, it crashes.  I just spent 2 hours trying to print one page after putting a new cartridge in (and yes, I printed your stupid alignment page and scanned it as required each time I change cartridges--this is yet another assinine requirement). I purchased this printer because I was having 3 kids working from home, and trusted HP products to manage their printing and scanning needs. Now I've got kids who I don't have to worry about their ability to scan their work back to teachers since the stupid thing prints just as well as my last printer, which died completely in August.  I am moments away from going to the store in the middle of the night to see what other brand of printer they might have...

The true beauty of this new printer is that it doesn't tell you what is wrong with it.  If you print the info page to get the error message, it tells me my wifi network, confirms that I am paying more per gallon for toner than I do for gas in my car, and that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my printer.  It did tell me a door was open once when it wasn't.  A hard reboot resolved that issue...
