Using my printer in a different location, on a different wireless router. Don’t have access to the router. Being prompted for a password when following the instructions to connect to my printer from my phone and computer. Unable to find password using product support on this website. Can I reset this or is there somewhere I can look for what it would be? Thanks in advance!

Hi @KristiB20

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

If you do not have access to the wireless router, you may connect these devices via wifi-direct.

Note: There will be no internet access on the iOS device or MAC while using wifi-direct. The default password is 12345678

Kindly refer to this document to know how to connect the printer to your iOS device via wifi-direct.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
