Very recently, when trying to print from my NOTE 8 to my 8600 through wifi, my HP8600 will only print blank pages (it was working fine before)

When printing from PC (windows 10 pro) its fine so I know the printer is OK, but from my phone, just blank pages.

I have:

uninstalled the app on my phone, and reinstalled-no success

uninstalled from my PC, and reinstalled-no success (PC wasn't the issue anyway)

restarted the router-no success

reset the HP8600 to factory defaults and ran the set up wizard-no success.

Printing from PC is fine

Printing from NOTE 8 is just blank pages(still)

Really frustrated...it shouldn't be this hard to figure out- should it?

@Mincan,

Thank you for joining HP Community.

Update the firmware for the printer

Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168 and follow the instruction to update the firmware for the printer.

Restart the printer.

If the issue persists, follow the below steps.

Step 1: Restart the mobile device, router, and your printer

Follow these steps to restart the network router, the printer, and the mobile device, and then try the print job again.

  1. Turn off the router.

Check with the router manufacturer for instructions on how to turn off the router.

  2. Press the Power button to turn off your printer.

  3. Turn off the mobile device.

  4. Turn on the router, and then wait 30 seconds to let it complete its start-up process.

  5. Turn on the mobile device and make sure it connects to your wireless network.

  6. Press the Power button to turn on your printer.

  7. Try to print.

Make sure you update your Android phone.
