I’m not new to the wireless world but I’m stumped on this one.?  HP 6830 is connected to a Wi-Fi network and iPad and iPhone connected to the Same network but iPad doesn’t find printer. Internet is connected, wireless Direct is off. I know both the printer and mobile device need to be connected to same network to print, They are but mobile device doesn’t see printer

Please use Apple Store to install HP Smart app and use it to print.

I did loaded HP Smart before I posted my question to the forum, I appreciate your comment , the HP Smart app does not resolve the problem. Tried to install my name an IP address, neither worked.

 

The printer is attached to the Wi-Fi network, blue light is solid and the mobile device(s) are attached to the same network. There should be no problem with the simple install. But it’s a struggle. HP technical support is also struggling with the issue.
