My HP app is not allowing me to print in color anymore from any of my devices how can i fix this?

I havent been able to print photos or documents with color in months.  When i go to print a picture it turns from color to black and white.  When i try to change it through the printer quality the color option doesnt show up.  So im only allowed to print in black and white even though i have a color cartridge in my print and when i do printer test they come out with color on them.

i have a HP laptop and a apple iphone x

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates.

Remove and add the HP Smart App. Restart the devices and try again. Refer to the document HP Printers - Using the HP Smart App (Android, Apple iOS) fro help.

On your Windows computer, try installing the full-featured software for the printer and print. You can download the software for Windows PC from here.
