Hi @Tamanna2586

Thank you for your response,

I'm sorry to hear that your HP laptop's camera is not working on Windows 11. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check the camera privacy settings: Windows 11 has enhanced privacy settings. It is possible that the camera privacy settings are preventing it from functioning correctly. To check the settings, click on the Windows Start menu and then click on "Settings" (gear icon). Then, click on "Privacy & Security" and select "Camera" from the left-hand side menu. Make sure that the toggle switch for "Allow apps to access your camera" is turned on. Also, check if the toggle switch for individual apps that require access to the camera, such as Skype or Zoom, is also turned on.
  • Update the camera driver: An outdated or corrupted camera driver could also be the cause of the issue. To update the driver, go to the HP support website and search for your laptop model. Then, download and install the latest camera driver available for your laptop.
  • Check for Windows updates: Sometimes, Windows updates can fix bugs and issues related to the camera. Check for updates by clicking on the Windows Start menu, then click on "Settings" (gear icon), and select "Windows Update" from the left-hand side menu. Click on "Check for updates" and wait for the system to search for and download any available updates.
  • Run the built-in troubleshooter: Windows 11 has a built-in troubleshooter for hardware and devices. To run the troubleshooter, click on the Windows Start menu, type "troubleshoot" in the search bar, and select "Troubleshoot settings" from the search results. Then, select "Hardware and Devices" and click on "Run the troubleshooter."
  • Check for hardware issues: If none of the above steps work, it is possible that there is a hardware issue with the camera.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
