Hi @Big_T,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to reset the wireless direct password.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You can print the network report on the printer and it will show the wireless direct password there.

Alternate, once connected to the network you may open the printer EWS page (http://192.168.XX.XX) and change the Wireless Direct password from within the Wireless tab.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thanks for the quicky reply.  I was able to do a semi-reset of the printer and start over.

I have a Samsung M2825DW pringter and when I try to set up wi-fi direct, it says "the printer's Wi-Fi Direct password has been changed by someone.  Please enter the changed password and click 'OK'".

How can I either reset to factory default or reset to somethng new?  I don't recall ever resetting the defaulr anyhow.

This whole set up process for this printer has been awful.  And, then HP took over in the middle.

And of course, no phone support (or even 24/7 chat) on Sat or Sun.
