Hello! Such a problem: I downloaded and installed from the download page for my model an audio driver - there is no "Improvements" tab in the properties of the speakers. I ask for help. Nothing helps - neither the reinstallation of Windows, nor the flashing of the BIOS. In addition, after removing the driver, an error pops up - there is not found something there dll. And the problem repeats itself both in Windows 10 1709 and in assembly1803.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that the enhancement tab is missing in the audio properties.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
Awesome job on diagnosing the issue correctly and performing smart troubleshooting before posting your question on HP forums. Kudos to you on that score.
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.
- When was the last time the computer was working fine?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
- What is the exact issue you are facing with audio?
Meanwhile, I recommend you uninstall the audio driver and then download and install it from the below link.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp83501-84000/sp83941.exe
If you continue to face the same issue, try the Disable and then Enable method.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

So it was from the very beginning when buying a computer.
I've downloaded an appropriate driver:
Installed:
opened the properties:
Well, here, and no tab "Enhancements" ("Улучшения") no. The columns should be 5, and I have 4. What kind of nonsense? Maybe this driver (6.0.1. 8117) is with out Enhancements?

It is great to have you back and your patience is greatly appreciated.
Whether or not you have the 'Enhancements' tab is down to the particular audio driver that's installed - some allow this feature and some do not.
Try the following.
Download the IDT Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
When done, open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the IDT device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, restart the notebook.
Let Windows fully load - it will automatically load an audio driver, but just let this complete. Then open your Downloads folder, right click on the IDT installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. When this has completed, check if you have the Enhancements tab back.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I do not have an Idt device in Device Manager. In addition, after clicking on the link, a warning appears:
Ignore? Driver, just in case, downloaded. Could not start. Returns this:

Thank you! I used to try installing this driver R2 82 when there was a problem. All the same - the driver was successfully installed, but there were no "Enhancement" tab either. Apparently, the problem within the framework of this model is not solved. If only the system is put on an external hard drive, and that is unknown.
