LAPTOP-DNP4FCRQ
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since I installed the new Windows Update on my Laptop, the Sound is not working anymore. I found out that the AMD High Definition Audio Device is apparently not plugged in.

I tried different things:

- troubleshooting

- updating both Audio Devices: AMD High Definition Audio Device and Realtek High Definition Audio Device

- uninstalling the Windows update

...but nothing worked.

My Groove Music reported that it can't play, because "this item was encoded in a format that's not supported" - the fault code given is 0xc00d5212.

I would be delighted if you could help me.

Thanks

Hi, thank you for your help! After deinstalling the AMD Audio Device, I went to the link you provided and downloaded a new Audio Device, but there was not the AMD one. However, I updated bios. and after that the Sound was working again. Now, unfortunately, the sound isn't working anymore! I have no clue what could have happend - my Notebook was just in Sleep-Mode in between.

If you have any other ideas what I could do, that would be great!
