HI! I finally have the answer to the "phantom issue" - "Do HP Envy Laptops having the punch holes on the top (with Bang and Olufsen or Poly Studio shown under them) actually are speakers or not??
Well, after going through the manual for the laptops and reading comments of several other users, as it looks like, HP laptops actually only have 2 Speakers and NOT 4. the punch holes at the BOTTOM of the laptop are speakers and not the one's on the top. The punch-hole looking "speakers" may be used for circulation for fans/ some purpose unkown to man.

No idea why HP makes these fake speaker holes as i actually thought they were real speakers but only 2 work.

hope this solved the issue.

Please do not reset your device in frustration like i did. (just ignore it, you'll get over the thing, and honeslty the speakers below are powerful enough!)
