Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Awhile back my  hp laptop audio kept muting itself  and if i increase it it just reduces and the volume slider was stuck on the screen and the issue resolved itself without me doing anything   but now its back, i tried to  uninstall the driver after rebooting it just reinstalls it among several solutions i found online. i looked for an updated driver on the hp  page, i installed it but after rebooting ,the driver that is there is the old one and not the one i have downloaded.

The current audio driver being used is conexant ISST audio version 9.0.278.150 driver date 11/18/2021. my computer is  HP elitebook x360 1030 G3, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8350U.

kindly assist
