Product: ELITEBOOK 8440P
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
After running windows 10h2h update, the audio is now gone with a ' No audio output device installed'. i have tried all the means like updating the driver, uninstalling the driver but none works

I did not set up the 8740w with W10 via inplace-update, but directly from a W10.iso Thus MS took all (newest) drivers that seemed suitable. In the case of audio, these were from 2020 and not HP-specific for IDT-High-Definition. It works fine, but the Speaker-LED stay orange, but it works if it will pressed.
