HP 350 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just few days ago my laptop had SSD installed and after first use I noticed my laptop is missing the audio driver.

I cannot find the driver from HP's page, is there any way to get the missing driver? My laptop isn't that old and is running nicely.

There must be a solution for this. Why haven't HP updated the audio driver for win10?

Already tried to install the win8 driver but the installation got reseted as it doesn't support win10.

Is there anything to do?

Hi:

I have a 350 G1 and had the same issue as you.

Here is a W10 IDT driver I found that works very well.  Install and restart the PC.

6.10.6492.0 Rev.A

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71886.exe

Now, when I installed it, I had no sound out of the onboard speakers.

For some strange reason, this driver sets the headphones as the default.

So, after you install the driver, go to the windows control panel>hardware and sound>sound>manage audio devices, and set the PC speakers as the default.

Then the sound should be working loud and clear.

One other thing...it installs the DTS program, but when I click on it, nothing happens.

I found that minor glitch to be of no major drawback.  The sound works fine without any adjustments.
