I have issue with the Audio Control setting under HP Audtio Switch, it does not load when I click on it. I only see the mouse pointer loads but nothing shows up.

It looks like you were interacting with Barachiel, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out. I'm KrazyToad & I'm at your service.

Since the issue is with the Audio Control setting, uninstall the Realtek High Definition Audio and restart your Notebook

You can also try a System Restore to an earlier time before the issue started

- Select the Start button, type control panel and then choose it from the list of results.
- Search Control Panel for Recovery.
- Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
- Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.

Keep me posted how it goes

Thank you 🙂

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Barachiel is at your service.

I understand you are in need of support,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues?

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

Goto start search, and search for device manager. Once it opens, search for "Sound, video and game controllers". Right click on the drivers and click un-install.

Once done, re-start the computer and check if it work's fine. 🙂

Let me know how that pans out.

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask any other queries as  well,

Considering, this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help. 😉

Thank you, it worked. Although the Audio Control option is not anymore listed in HP Audio Switch but the important thing is I can access the Audio Control now.
