Hi, 

 

I resetted my laptop after which there is ared cross sighn on my sound on bottom left corner. I tried all possible troubleshooting but it is not working. I was using IDT High Defination audio driver previously.

Could someone help me out?

reinstall the audio driver by downloading it here

I am getting an error while installing the driver :

 The hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software package. The install will be aborted. Please let me know what I need to do.

Your machine is a little bit old. Please try the older one first

Still facing the same issue with the old driver provided. I bought this laptop in April 2013.

I am a little disappointed, if several experts at the same time, we do not know if what we say is well followed!
I offered to test with the hp support assistant software, so what about it?
is a driver found, installed pc restarted, error message ??
"audio driver is not available here"
The pc is under windows 10 obviously!
The product page generally opens depending on the system installed
Just change the choice, click on
Choose a different OS

download driver
execute the file right click (execute as administrator)
restart the pc!
sometimes we have a reboot uninstall process
the pilot must install then, wait a little if not the case or nothing visible check the installed pilot
If not up to date restart the file
