Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the laptop 17-by2xxx with Bios F.62 from 02/08/2021 with Win10 home 64-bit, 21H2. My problem: I would like to record music from e.g. radio, CD player with the Audacity program via the combo jack (3.5mm jack) by cable. According to the manual, the jack seems to be intended only for headsets. Can the desired recording be made via the microphone branch? If yes how?

Your machine does not have line-in. You can use an adapter or external sound card with line-in to record audio properly. For example
