I have a Presonus Studio 24c audio interface that I'm attempting to connect to the USB-C port on my computer. The audio interface is USB powered.

When I plug the interface into the USB-C port on my computer it doesn't get any power.

I've tested the interface and the USB-C cable that I'm using on a different computer and they work with no problem. The  interface also works perfectly on my computer when I use a regular USB cable and plug it into the other USB ports. Ideally I'd like to get it to work on the USB-C port if possible.

Is there some sort of Windows or BIOS setting that controls power to the USB-C port?

The specs of your machine is

The USB-C port is an USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s) only, it should work similar to a normal USB-A port . Please call HP in your country to check it and repair if required.
