ello HP Support Team,
I am experiencing audio issues on my HP EliteBook after switching from Linux to Windows. Here are the steps I have taken so far:
- I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Conexant audio drivers from the official HP support page for my model.
- I have checked the audio settings and ensured the correct playback device is set as default.
- I ran the Windows Troubleshooter, but it did not resolve the issue.
- I also restarted the Windows Audio service and checked for Windows updates.
Despite these efforts, the audio still does not work. I am unsure whether the driver I installed is the latest version or if there might be compatibility issues.
Could you please assist me in confirming if I have the correct driver installed and if there are any additional steps I should take to resolve this issue?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,
