Hello HP Community,

I hope someone can assist me with an audio issue I'm encountering on my Notebook. Recently, I've been facing difficulties with the sound output on my laptop. Here are the details of the problem:

  1. Audio Distortion: When playing any type of audio (music, videos, or system sounds), there's a noticeable distortion or crackling noise coming from the speakers. This distortion occurs intermittently but is persistent enough to affect the audio quality significantly.

  2. No Sound Output: At times, the sound completely cuts out, and I'm unable to get any audio output from the speakers. I've checked the volume settings, and everything appears to be correctly configured. Even with volume at maximum, no sound is audible.

  3. Troubleshooting Attempted:

    • I've updated the audio drivers through the Device Manager, but the issue persists.
    • Tried using headphones and external speakers; the problem persists with these devices too, ruling out a speaker hardware issue.
    • Ensured that no audio enhancements are enabled in the sound settings .

I'm uncertain whether this is a hardware or software issue. Is there any specific troubleshooting step I might have overlooked? Or is there a known issue with this capcut mod notebook model that could cause such audio problems?

I appreciate any guidance or suggestions to resolve this audio problem. Thank you in advance for your help!
