When watching youtube, I get an error "Audio Renderer Error - Please Restart Your Computer".  This happens seemingly at random times.  Would like to re-install audio drivers to see if that helps; however it is not obvious how to do that.  Any other ideas?

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

I see that you're experiencing an error while watching youtube,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Have you tried playing video from a USB flash drive or internally stored files?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you tried playing video from a different website?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi...it essentially started as soon as I took the laptop out of the box.  It appears that it seems to only happen when the headphones are plugged in.  I have tried two different sets of headphones and the issue occurs when using both.  Any help is appreciated.  Note that I went into the hardware device list and installed the audio driver again.  This did not fix the issue.
