When i try to listen to audio messages or any other audio coming from my  new notebook, it stops working and i have to turn it off . I don't know why it happens but i suspect it's due to the lastest updating of windows 10.

Honestly i'm not very satisfied by this product, very expensive and i had problems since the first day; i bought it in a Mediaworld shop and when i brought it at home i found out it had already a registered account in it. I found photos of other people in the memory. I don't think it's normal by the way

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,  I would suggest performing system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software system files and data will be removed.

While doing the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.

Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows )You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

This is what I just did a couple weeks ago, & this is when I noticed the audio issue.  I did the system factory reset, as I could not get my laptop to startup.

I don't really want to do this again.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you for posting back.

Let's try Audio driver rollback:

  1. Open Device Manager. ...
  2. In Device Manager, locate the device Audio input and output devices,
  3. Right-click on the device's name or icon and choose Properties.
  4. Select the Driver tab.
  5. Select the Roll Back Driver button and check the Audio device.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
