Hi. I've had a few driver issues and only need an answer to this one. I have a speaker icon which works ie volume level is 50 etc. However, there is no sound. The device manager shows the following:-

Under Audio Inputs and Outputs.

Microphone (Intel SST Audio Device (WDM))

Speakers (Intel SST Audio Device (WDM))

Under Sound Video and Game Controllers.

Intel SST Audio Device (WDM))

Realtek  12S Audio Codec

I vaguely recall seeing more Realtek devices a while ago under Device Manager, so do I need some sort of Realtek audio device to use to play sounds via that to the speakers in this machine?

Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.

Hi. I've managed to get the required driver, so this is now fixed. Thanks to anyone who was looking into it for me.
