Ho compaq nx9600 audio driver not installed. Ads not working error code 10

Your notebook is only supported for Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

 

Your only option would be to try the WXP audio driver and hope it works on W7.

Try manually installing the driver if the auto install method doesn't work.
