Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I am having problems with my audio since updating my computer. I can no longer receive any audio from apps such as chrome (youtube podcasts etc.) nor from any games yet system audio and apps like spotify can still play. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers with no luck. Any ideas or links to similar problems?

FIXED: Seems as though windows updates mute certain applications totally at random. to fix you open the advanced sound options and unmute the apps. you have to have them running to be able to unmute them.

Update, sound works with microsoft edge and some games but not others.
