Product: HP ProBook 6570b Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I complete refresh of windows 10 on my laptop.
After the update, the audio system (both speakers and microphone) seems to not be recognized any longer.
The Device Manager shows an IDT High Definition Audio CODEC which is detected but the driver is not functioning.  With a yellow warning triangle. ⚠ 

I have tried installing drivers, and downloaded several updates from the HP support site.  Nothing works.

As far as I know there aren't any W10 drivers that will work for that model series and most HP business class notebooks with the IDT audio system.

 

You can try this IDT driver but I believe most folks indicate it doesn't work.

 

IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver 

 

6.10.6492.0

 

sp71886.exe
